Studenckie Koło Naukowe Archeologów przy Instytucie Archeologii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, ma zaszczyt zaprosić na Studencką Konferencję Naukową, która odbędzie się w dniach 4-5 kwietnia 2009 roku we Wrocławiu. Temat tegorocznego spotkania wyraża hasło:
Seksualność człowieka zawsze stanowiła istotny element rozważań nad naturą ludzką. Uwaga, jaką poświęcano temu zagadnieniu, nigdy nie ograniczała się do aspektu biologicznego, czego dowodem są licznie funkcjonujące, ściśle przypisane normy zachowań uświęconych przez tradycję, religię czy filozofię. Wachlarz postaw, od skrajnego purytanizmu do rozpasanego libertynizmu, dotyczących tej, określanej niekiedy intymną, sfery życia człowieka, który możemy zaobserwować na przestrzeni dziejów, czyni zeń temat z pewnością interesującym i niebanalnym. Liczymy, zatem na podjęcie dyskusji o szeroko rozumianej seksualności i erotyce, ich roli w społeczeństwie, przedstawieniach, symbolice oraz kulturze materialnej z nimi związanej, od epoki kamienia po renesans.
